Acorn Acres Farmstead and Happy Heart Elderberry

Our family lives and works on Acorn Acres Farmstead, a 38‑acre regenerative, pasture‑based farm that supports both our meat production and our elderberry business, Happy Heart Elderberry. Although they serve different needs, both operations are based at the same address and reflect our commitment to healthy, sustainably made products.

Acorn Acres Farmstead
We raise pigs, layer chickens, meat chickens, turkeys, ducks and fresh eggs, and we expect to expand into beef and lamb in the near future. Our animals are pasture‑raised and fed non-GMO supplemental feed. We never use growth hormones, feed additives or subtherapeutic antibiotics.

We offer local delivery and on‑farm pickup. We’re here to help you serve your family healthy, delicious meals.

Happy Heart Elderberry
On the farm, we also make organic, handcrafted elderberry syrup; herbal teas; infused honey; elderberry coffee; and cayenne elderberry blends. Our elderberry syrup won first place for Best in Taste from the North Carolina Specialty Foods Association in 2023.
