Anson AgriScience-FFA Greenhouse Innovation Center

The Anson AgriScience-FFA Program involves students in the business, marketing, and production of catfish, lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries, and tilapia; fish and vegetables are produced in aquaculture, aquaponic, earthbox, and hydroponic (horizontal and vertical) systems, within our Greenhouse Innovation Center STEAM Lab.

We are developing a new freshwater and marine biology STEAM Lab; the freshwater systems will play host to freshwater and tropical species; the marine systems will play host to breeding pairs of seahorses, along with clownfish, anemone, coral, and other marine life.

These STEAM Labs are the catalyst for developing graduates who possess the confidence to reason and lead, independently and as part of a group, for the good of society. We challenge our students through engaging and rigorous learning opportunities; encouraging and providing students with opportunities to engage in their areas of employment interests with an emphasis placed on the many agricultural careers
