Barnwell’s Apple House

Odell and Gladys Barnwell opened their first apple shed in 1959. It was a small wooden structure that now stands behind the current packing house, and is still in use today. The Barnwell’s make fresh pressed apple cider, pasteurized apple cider, and apple cider vinegar. Throughout the years, Gladys and Odell continued to expand their orchards. They went from a small, 15 acre apple orchard to various orchards of over 100 acres. The vegetable production has also increased, with a large variety of veggies grown each year. The Barnwell’s now have an additional 10 acres of peach orchards.
