ELIZABETH CITY

• Mid–Late April: Our farmers market opens for the season once our asparagus and pick-your-own strawberries are ready.

• Mid–Late April through End of May/Early June: Pick-your-own strawberries and select vegetables.

• Late Spring through October: Pick-your-own sunflowers (and occasionally other flowers) when available.

• May: CSA program begins.

• End of August: Farmers market closes as we transition into pumpkin patch season.

• Mid-September through End of October: Pumpkin Patch season is open.

• End of October/Early November: Our farm closes completely for the season and reopens the following spring.

• Closed November through April.

PORTSMOUTH

JANUARY–DECEMBER: We attend the Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market every Saturday year-round.

FEBRUARY–MARCH

• CSA sign-ups open from late January through March.

• CSAs begin in Elizabeth City and Portsmouth in May, and in Avon once that market’s season is confirmed.

APRIL

• Our self-serve / honor-system market opens for the season (depending on asparagus and strawberry readiness).

• You’ll find us physically on-site during pick-your-own strawberry season (mid–late April through end of May) and again during pumpkin patch season (mid-September through end of October).

MAY

• Elizabeth City CSA program begins.

AUGUST

• Around August 31, our Elizabeth City farmers market closes for the season as we prepare for the fall Pumpkin Patch.

• Market reopens mid-September for the Pumpkin Patch season and closes again after October ends.

SEPTEMBER

• Pumpkin Patch opens around mid-September and continues through the end of October.

OCTOBER

• Pumpkin Patch remains open until the end of October.

WHAT WE’RE MOST KNOWN FOR

• CSAs: Offered in Elizabeth City, Portsmouth (VA), and Avon (NC).

• Farmers Markets: Regularly attend markets in Portsmouth, VA and Avon, NC.

• Self-Serve / Honor-System Market: Featuring pick-your-own flowers, tomatoes, and other produce (April–August).

• Pick-Your-Own Strawberries: Mid-April through early June.

• Pumpkin Patch: Mid-September through end of October in Elizabeth City.
