Catawba Trail Farm

Urban Community AgriNomics is reclaiming an old neglected farmstead into the Catawba Trail Farm. The land which formerly held enslaved people has a 47 bed community garden, traditional agriculture growing area, bees, chicken, historic buildings, and more. Since 2017 we have built an infrastructure devoted to increase food security, academic success through nontraditional education, and individual and family health and wellbeing.

We provide workshops specifically geared towards youth and adults, i.e. Birding, mushroom inoculation, green bucket gardening, hikes.
