Country Life Museum

The museum is the culmination of many years planning by the Carolina Antique Power Association, a group of people who enjoy acquiring and restoring artifacts of the past. The building was constructed at Sloan Park in western Rowan County in 2016 and is still a work in progress. The desire of the CAPA group for the museum is a place to display and view items of the past rural lifestyle of the North Carolina Piedmont with the motto “Looking back to the past, but reaching forward to the future”. This site could also be used for special events.
