Honey, I’m Home_stead
Honey, I’m Home_stead is a family-run homestead located in Huntersville, North Carolina, serving the Lake Norman community with fresh, locally produced food and agricultural products. Nestled on three acres, our homestead is home to honeybees, laying hens, orchards, berry patches, vegetable gardens, and a thriving wildflower meadow that supports pollinators and local wildlife.
Throughout the growing season, we offer fresh eggs, raw local honey, seasonal produce, berries, sourdough baked goods, and other small-batch homestead products through our self-serve farm stand. Visitors can experience firsthand how sustainable, small-scale agriculture supports both healthy food systems and the environment.
Honey, I’m Home_stead is proud to be the first property accepted into Mecklenburg County’s Voluntary Agricultural District program, helping preserve local agriculture in one of North Carolina’s fastest-growing regions. We are passionate about producing quality food, supporting pollinators, and demonstrating that even a small homestead can have a meaningful impact on local food security, environmental stewardship, and community connection.
