Island Farm
Island Farm is a living history site run by the nonprofit organization, Outer Banks Conservationists. Island Farm interprets mid-19th century life on Roanoke Island through hands-on educational activities connected to the working farm. The site is a working farm and is open to the public March-December. Programming includes: historic home and outbuilding tours, agriculture demonstrations, hearth cooking, blacksmithing, farm animal interactions, special programs, workshops, and events.
