Lomax Farms

Lomax Farms proprietor Bobby Gentry is proud to continue a long family tradition of cultivating high quality produce for the foothills of North Carolina. The farm has been in the Gentry family for many generations. In the early 1920’s, Bobby’s father, Olen Gentry, bought the out the farm from his brother, Reece. Olen dedicated his life to working the land, organizing an agricultural community, as well as supporting pro-agricultural policies. His three children, Jimmy, Bobby, and Tammy followed in his footsteps in the decades to come. In 2019, Bobby was ready to take the farm in a new direction by investing in blueberry, blackberry and strawberry bushes. Lomax Farms opened for their first season in 2022.
