McAdams Farm
At McAdams Farm, we grow fresh, flavorful, and local fruits and vegetables, flowers, and meat.
At our family farm here in Efland, North Carolina, we strive to keep the land, plants, and animals well-cared for, healthy, and beautiful. We’re always trying new varieties of vegetables, fruits, and cut flowers, and we’re always excited for the first blooms, ripe berries, or vegetables that are ready to harvest. We make our farming decisions based on an intention to continue farming for many years to come. And, we try to have fun and laugh a lot while we’re doing it!
We raise a wide range of seasonal vegetable and fruit crops that are sold at the farm stand and at the Carrboro Farmers’ Market year-round. These include strawberries, tomatoes, peaches, cantaloupes, watermelons, muscadine grapes, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, cucumbers, squash, onions, potatoes, and many other crops! Our flower bouquets show off stunning colors and textures, along with other specialty cut flowers we grow. And we also raise Angus cattle and Katahdin sheep.
