Mill Camp Wines and Ciders

Boone’s newest Winery & Cidery, Mill Camp Wines & Ciders, is only 10-15 mins from downtown Boone. At Mill Camp, we serve small-batch wines and ciders, each crafted with care by our father and son duo in our Appalachian Mountains. We’re a community‑rooted & independent winery & cidery serving adventure in every glass. Mark and team make our cider with NC-grown apples from a century old Boone orchard just 1 mile from the Tasting Room! In addition to the orchard and vineyards, we harvest maple sap for syrup, birch bark for birch “beer”, hay, eggs, and honey from our bees.

Mill Camp Farm sits on the site of an old Buffalo Trail which passed through this area years ago. Native Americans used this trail to hunt and follow bison through the mountains to the Atlantic. Later, the same trail was used by animal trappers to hunt and share camps on their expeditions.
