The Farmers’ Daughter

The Farmers’ Daughter is a strawberry and mixed vegetable farm, started in 2008. Owners, Amy and Jason Douglas own and operate the farm, along with their roadside country store, complete with an ice cream parlor and deli, which opened in 2022.

On the farm side, the Douglas Family grows approximately 3 acres of already picked strawberries. Plus approximately 10 acres of seasonal mixed vegetables. They have a 50+ member CSA that has been in operation since 2009. They also team up with Amy’s family farm, Morning Dew Farms, LLC to provide squash, zucchini, snap beans, blueberries, and pastured beef to their community and the southeast region.
