Our Farms

We are a vineyard and winery in Leicester, NC producing wine from grapes grown on our farm and sourced from other NC farms.

The award-winning brewery that begun in Boone, NC and is known for being the first craft brewery to buy itself back from Anheuser-Busch chose Mills River for its first tasting room outside of their hometown because of the proximity to Pisgah National Forest, the clean water and the growing beer scene. The tasting room offers 32 taps, a full menu that showcases local cuisine and ingredients, plus lots of events, like live music and group bike rides.

The Baker farm once produced moonshine and dairy cattle, but is now dedicated to growing grapes, making wine, and creating memories. Our vineyard is a beautiful setting for wine tastings, weddings and social gatherings. The historic farmhouse, mule barn, and original milk house have been restored and re-purposed. Leashed pets are permitted.

Black Mountain Cider + Mead crafts dry ciders and sessionable meads from local apples and honey in an old furniture factory nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western NC. Our ciders and meads harmonize fresh flavors with traditional wisdom. We ferment cider in small batches blended from heirloom apples harvested throughout the season to make cider that is real, never filtered, pasteurized, or tainted with added sugars, concentrates, or manufactured flavors.

For 10 years, artist owner Victor Chiarizia has created unique cave aged cow milk cheeses and custom one of a kind glass art at his studio/creamery in Fairview. Tours of the grounds and cave are offered by appointment as well as viewing of blown glass artwork.

The brewery started in a small strip mall location in Arden, NC where Joey brewed and PJ saw to the taproom and distribution.
