Appalachian Ridge Artisan Hard Cider takes a winemakers approach to hard cider. Favoring traditional French ciders, their artisan hard cider tends to be on the dry side. You will also find fresh cider, apple brandy and locally roasted coffee at Appalachian Ridge. The tasting room is housed in a rustic, restored barn from the 1920s, situated in the middle of a 29-acre apple orchard, with a large back deck that overlooks the orchard. You can often find special events going on at Appalachian ridge, including yoga, live music and orchard hikes with the owner/brewer. Open 7 days a week!

Bold Rock Hard Cider is the biggest craft cider maker in the Carolinas. The Mills River cidery uses apples sourced only from Henderson County. The Cidery offers complimentary daily tours and tastings and features an expansive tasting room and outdoor patio. Has a permanent food truck on-site, regularly has live music, movies on the big screen, and other special events such as weekly trivia, bingo, and yoga!
